Lee Anne Schienbein, Chair of the Board, is pleased to announce the following changes in the Board’s membership effective January 1, 2024.
Tom Schonhoffer, K.C., has retired down from the Board on expiry of his term of service. Lee Anne thanked Tom for his service on the Board , including his outstanding role as Chair from 2019 to 2022.
Lee Anne also welcomed two new Board appointments of the Law Society of Saskatchewan (LSS). The recommendation for these appointments was made by a Joint Selection Committee comprised of members of LSS and the Foundation. Lindsay Gates, of Swift Current, and Renée Gavigan of Saskatoon join the Board effective January 1, 2024. The Board is now back at full complement with the two new members replacing Tom Schonhoffer, and David Chow who stepped down in 2023 when he was appointed to the Provincial Court.
